Our corporate branch gave care packages to people in need, and we will never forget those special moments. Our Riverside branch gave children at Val Verde Elementary School in Moreno Valley a Holiday Surprise Day with a pizza party and personalized holiday stockings. How wonderful to see those smiles! Our Oxnard branch volunteered their time to the Lighthouse for Women & Children serving food and cleaning up. Having the opportunity to hear their stories and spend time with them was an eye-opening experience for the PrimeSkill staff.

Job Title:  On-Site Manager

Job Summary: Essential Functions

Position: On-Site Manager

 

On-Site Staffing Manager is primarily responsible for effectively meeting the temporary help and/or training needs of a customer. The On-Site Staffing Manager is responsible for delivering high quality service to the customer and temporary employees by matching the skills of temporaries to the customer’s job requirements and safety responsibilities. Develops and retains business by providing outstanding customer service, and performs a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall mission of quality service and performance.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Experience manager with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • On call availability to respond to the customer reporting an injury or any temporary employee situation that requires immediate attention.
  • Job experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, supervising, training and disciplining employees.
  • Responsible for overall safety of temporary employees; training, orientation, safety worksite evaluations, required safety equipment, injury/accident investigation, safety violations, complete all Workers’ Compensation/OSHA forms (depending on situation-incident, first aid, injury and modified duty if necessary),  manage the process of any open claims and injured employees, detailed documentation in Avionte and communication of anything related to safety/injuries/accidents
  • Obtain detailed assignment information from the customer and utilize it to provide effective customer service.
  • Plan and schedule QC meetings with each Manager, on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate and attend semi-annual lunches with Managers.
  • Attend the weekly “client company” Human Resources meeting.
  • Compile all information required for quarterly reviews; coordinate and schedule the quarterly review presentation with the customer.  Create a tracking spreadsheet to include: Workers’ Compensation, orders filled, sales, overtime and direct hires, all by department.
  • Responsible for the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, supervising, evaluating, disciplining (verbal warnings, written warnings and terminations) and training of all Temporary employees
  • Recruit, interview and test applicants using the Kenexa Prove It Assessment System to evaluate their qualifications for assignments.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately, and properly documents all pertinent information into Avionte i.e. (all actions regarding customer calls, sensitive situations, 1st/2nd checks, work orders, job descriptions, QC’s, etc.)
  • Administer the training of temporary employees to upgrade their skills for assignments.
  • Fill the customer’s work orders with qualified temporaries.
  • Schedule, check-in and provide pre-assignment orientation to all temporary employees.
  • Monitor temporary employee attendance and performance using the phone and Quality Performance Program.
  • Troubleshoot to resolve the problems or complaints of the customer and temporary employees.
  • Coach and counsel temporaries to ensure quality performance and job satisfaction.
